Well, the Redlegs did something on Sunday night they hadn't done in 39 days -- win back-to-back ball games. They did so by slipping past the Atlanta Braves 4-3 thanks to some last inning heroics by none other than Drew Stubbs. His 13th homer of the season in the bottom of the ninth sent the crowd of 33,036 home happy with a Reds walkoff win.
For his efforts, Stubbs receives this edition of the Redlegs Review Hard Hat. Here is his statline for the affair:
2-4, HR, BB, RBI, 2 RS & a brilliant, run-saving catch in the top of the 9th. His walkoff homer was the 2nd in his young career.
