Cueto Dazzles in 2-1 Victory

Cincinnati (57-61) earned a series split on Thursday after they edged out Colorado 2-1 before 20,546 fans at Great American Ball Park.

The Reds offense struck quickly in the contest, scratching across two runs in the home half of the first inning.  Those two runs would prove to be all starter Johnny Cueto needed in this one.

After suffering a rocky start in his last outing - to which he attributed to eating bad chicken wings - the Dominican right-hander was dominant in his seven innings of work on Thursday.  Here is his stat line:

7 IP, 0 ER, 3 hits, 2 BBs, 9 Ks

Due to his superb performance in this Reds' win, he earns the Redlegs Review Hard Hat.
