Pedro Villarreal (7-3) pitching six innings giving up just one earned, while striking out six to get the win. Neftali Soto hit a two run shot for his 30th home run of the season. Josh Fellhauer had two RBI of his own, and Miguel Rojas, Eric Campbell, and Bill Rhinehart had an RBI each.
High Desert 7 Bakersfield 6
Christopher Manno (0-1) pitching 1.2 innings after blowing the save and took the loss allowing one earned run. Jorge Jimenez had two RBI, while Mark Fleury and Ryan LaMarre chipped in with one each.
West Michigan 5 Dayton 1
Stalin Gerson (5-2) gave up two earned runs over five innings to get the loss. Billy Hamilton drove in the only run and stole his 95th base of the season.
The Billings Mustangs were off on Monday.
AZL Dodgers 5 AZL Reds 4
Cesar Caceres (1-1) took the loss giving up an earned run, while pitching the last 3.2 innings of the game. Brandon Dailey and Yimmy Lopez each had an RBI.
The Reds will close their season today against the AZL Giants.
