Watch Juan Francisco's Epic Homer Again

Redlegs third basemen Juan Francisco launched the longest homerun in MLB this season when he sent a majestic drive over the Moon Deck in Monday's 12-8 loss to the Cubs.

All totalled, the ball traveled an estimated 502 feet -- smashing the previous long of the season held by Prince Fielder on 4/29 in Houston (486 ft).

According to FSN Ohio's Jim Day, Francisco’s ball cleared the stadium wall, hit a tree along Mehring Way and rattled around on the road. A stadium worker retrieved the ball to return back to Francisco, said Day.

The titanic blast is the second longest in Great American Ball Park history, trailing only Adam Dunn's 535 ft. shot that splashed into the Ohio River back in 2004.
