Aroldis Chapman to pitch in AFL

If you haven't heard yet, Aroldis Chapman will be competing for a spot in the starting rotation for the Reds next year. He's going to spend time in winter ball in order to build on his innings and pitch count. First, though he's going to get warmed up in the Arizona Fall League.

Chapman is scheduled to throw for the Phoenix Desert Dogs this Monday, October 24th, Thursday the 27th, and next Monday the 31st. I would think he will start each game, but wouldn't expect to see him throw more than two or three innings in any appearance, but hopefully he dominates the young hitters along the way.
