Keith Law Weighs in on Reds

Keith Law of ESPN Insider recently weighed in on a variety of MLB topics through his blog and via an online chat recently. Among them are two tidbits regarding the Redlegs.

Here the snippets in which Law mentions Cincinnati:

Regarding RHP Brad Boxberger who finished last year with Triple-A Louisville:

"I expect to see Cincinnati Reds right-hander Brad Boxberger in their big league pen in 2012; he was 90-94 with a hard curveball at 81-84. Right-handed hitters will have a hard time picking up the ball because he comes slightly across his body. I'd like to see even a show-me change-up just so left-handers, who hit him better than righties did this year but still didn't hit him well, don't take too much advantage of his delivery."

Regarding what to do with Votto & Alonso:

In an online chat with readers on Friday, Law stated that he would deal Yonder Alonso and "look to win" in the remaining two years that Joey Votto is under Reds' control.
