- Former Red Scott Williamson is reportedly trying to sell his World Series ring that he won as a member of the Red Sox in 2004. WLWT.com has the full story.

- Reds farmhand Brad Boxberger continues to make his case for the team's closer role in 2012 according to this bleacherreport.com article.

- The Reds Urban Youth Academy gets underway for it's third year soon writes Mark Sheldon of MLB.com.

- Tom Groeschen of Cincinnati.com recently penned a brilliant and somewhat humorous piece regarding how Reds fans feel toward the Cardinals' World Series run. You can read the piece in it's entirety here

- On a sadder note, and as I'm sure most of you are already aware of, former Reds owner Carl Lindner passed away at the age of 92 on Monday. Here is an informative article written by Sheldon chronicling Lindner's major accomplishments.
