Phoenix dropped a 10-7 battle to the Salt River Rafters yesterday, where the Reds young players were busy on the basepaths, as well as the mound.

-Cody Puckett, hitting right behind Greene and at SS, went 1-2 with a 2B, a run scored, an RBI, three walks and a strikeout.

-Travis Webb started the game, pitching three innings, were he allowed three hits, one earned run, and also struck out three batters.

-Nick Christiani came in to relieve Webb, and once again struggled a bit. He gave up a run on two hits over 1.2 innings, while striking out one.

-Donnie Joseph came on in relief of Christiani and had another nice outing giving the Dogs 1.1 innings of hitless baseball with one walk and two strikeouts.
