* According to this online post by The Marietta Times, former Red Chuck Harmon will be signing autographs on November 17th in West Virginia. The event is part of a membership movement by the local chapter of the Reds Hall of Fame. For more details please visit the link.

* In non-Reds related news, here are the two most notable free agent rumblings from Friday:

- The Philadelphia Phillies have inked former Boston Red Sox pitcher Jonathan Papelbon to be there next closer. The deal is reportedly worth up to 5yrs/$60mil.

- The Florida Marlins and coveted shortstop Jose Reyes are close to a deal, reports Jason A. Churchill of ESPN Insider. The two parties recently met on Wednesday.
