Fantasy baseball anyone?

All this talk about fantasy baseball rankings this past week, coupled with a request from @RedlegsWriter has me kicking around the idea of a Redlegs Review fantasy baseball league.

But before I commit to creating one I thought I'd gauge the interest level, among other things, first.

The response I received on Twitter about a possible league was quite encouraging, but I need to get a more precise head count before setting the whole thing up.

The overwhelming majority of you seem to be in favor of using ESPN.com as the platform. That works for me.

Secondly, I would like to have as many teams as possible (up to 20). The more people involved, the more fun it'll be fun, in my opinion.

Thirdly, we'll have to decide on a scoring type. Do you all prefer rotisserie-style, head-to-head, or season points? I'd personally go with either rotisserie or H2H myself.

And lastly, once we get all that figured out we'll have to decide on a draft day. I'm thinking perhaps like a Sunday evening? In early-March?

Besides the bragging rights and fame that come with winning the Redlegs Review fantasy baseball league, the victor will receive something else as well. It'll most likely be an autographed ball, or a t-shirt, or a silly plaque, I haven't quite decided yet. But rest assured the first-place winner will get something as a token of their dubious achievement.

So, yea that's all I've got to say regarding that. Please, please, please, I encourage you to drop your thoughts on the league in the comment section below. Or if that's not your cup of tea feel free to email me (redlegsreview@yahoo.com), drop a comment on the Facebook fan page, or tweet at me (@Redlegs_Review).
