Reds links for Super Bowl weekend

No worries. We'd never pull a fast one
on you guys here at Redlegs Review.

Congrats my fellow Reds faithful! You have successfully navigated your way through another work week and are well on your way to Super Bowl Sunday. However, before you kick back and watch Tom Brady and the Patriots battle Eli Manning and the Giants take some time to treat yourself to some Reds-related reading. Here are some notable links I came across earlier:

*Al Melchior of CBSSports.com offers up a 2012 fantasy outlook on Cincy in his latest article. Among this piece he hands out predictions for his breakout Red of 2012, bust of 2012, and impact rookie of 2012, along with a projected lineup, starting rotation and bullpen.

*Yahoo! Sports columnist Tim Brown takes a turn at previewing the state of the Reds entering the upcoming season in the following link.

*The "Big Red Machine could be humming again", writes Lyle Spencer of MLB.com. Like many others, he also does his due diligence in offering up both a recap of the offseason and a preview for next. LINK.

*The following may have been the most exciting news I've heard all day. Beginning next Monday Fox Sports Ohio will air the first of four "Reds Classic Rewinds" featuring three games from the 2011 season and a game from 1999 where new Hall of Famer Barry Larkin smashed a game-winning double. Read more about it here.

*Ryan Nolan of the Bleacher Report gives us "5 Reasons Why the Reds Will Win the NL Central" in the following slideshow. His reasons are persuasive enough for me.

*One fan puts the pen to the proverbial paper regarding his thoughts on Josh Hamilton's latest relapse in alcohol. LINK. Personally, I'm a bit surprised the media has made such a big story out of the situation, but nevertheless it's a topic worth discussing. I hope for the sake of Hamilton's personal well-being, as well as those close to him that he he continues to battle the noble fight of sobriety.
