Reds links with a weird Barry Larkin card

There's only two days left in this work week. Try to stay awake and make it to the weekend if you can. Hopefully some of these links will at least get you through part of the day. Remember, tomorrow is Friday, pitchers and catchers report in a mere 16 days, and there's just 63 days till OPENING DAY. Without further ado, here are your Thursday morning links.

-The number of the day is apparently 9. Both and ranked the Reds ninth in their preseason power rankings.

-If you're into such things, here's the 2012 fantasy outlook for the Cincinnati Reds from as well.

-Fox Sports Arizona is preparing for baseball, providing for their own preseason preview and breakdown of the Reds as part of their Cactus League countdown.

-The Pensacola Blue Wahoos will introduce themselves to the people of Cincinnati at Kenwood Towne Center on February 4th, in celebration of their inaugural season.

-Phil Rogers of the Chicago Tribune ranks the Toronto Blue Jays at 15th in his power rankings. Why do you care about this article? He says that a Joey Votto blockbuster trade between the Reds and Blue Jays is inevitable.

-Here's a little small town flavor from the Chillicothe Gazette about the Reds revamping their roster and going all in for this season.

-Finally, as promised, ESPN did an article about some weird baseball cards through the years. Included are three Reds: Jim Beauchamp, Bip Roberts* (although the card is when he was with the Padres), and Hall of Famer Barry Larkin.

*Did you know Bip Roberts was an All-Star with the Reds in 1992 and finished 8th in MVP voting that year? That's what I learned today.
