Cookin' with Bronson Arroyo (video)

Ever wonder what kind of diet Reds players adhere to? If so, you're in luck.

Seen here is Bronson Arroyo sharing his thoughts on diet and nutrition. The Reds right-hander goes on to demonstrate his cooking prowess by serving up some delicious-looking salmon patties. Team chef Tim Gonzales tops off the dish with a twist of his own.

But salmon patties aren't the only thing the Florida native has been serving up lately. Arroyo surrendered a league-leading and club-record 46 homers last season -- a stat I'm sure he would soon like to forget.

His sub-par 2011 campaign forced the 35-year old Arroyo to rethink his approach to the game. He made an effort this offseason to prepare more of his own meals, in addition to tweaking his workout regimen to help add more velocity on his fastball. For both his sake and the club's sake, let's hope his self-dedication pays off this year.
