Cueto, Bruce Star as Reds Win 6-0

After our adventure with the Reds on Wednesday, Jimmi and I went back up to Great American Ballpark for today's game against the Houston Astros (8-13). We had 3 things on our mind.
1. Buying some VottO's Cereal
2. Getting one of the free Fleece Blankets given to the first 20,000 fans in attendance.
3. And of course seeing the Reds WIN!

We were unable to find any VottO's but 2 out of 3 isn't bad! (especially if viewed in baseball terms)

Here is a look at the Good, Bad, and Notables from the game.

The Good
- Johnny Cueto pitched 7 strong innings allowing 0 runs and 3 strike outs. He moves to 3-0 on the year with an ERA of 1.39.

-Logan Ondrusek and Aroldis Chapman each pitched a scoreless inning.

-Jay Bruce had a home run to go with 4 RBI and scored 1 run.

- The middle of the batting order (2-6) accounted for all 6 runs.

- The Reds couldn't have picked a better night to give out free fleece blankets. They were needed in the chilly 50 degree weather with strong winds.

The Bad
- Drew Stubbs went 0-fer. He was the only position player to not get a hit.

- The Snow Cone Vendors had a miserable day of work.

-Ice Cream sales also took a hit.

The Notables
-The Reds are currently undefeated on Sundays. Look for them to keep that streak going as they try to take the series against the Astros tomorrow at 1:10

-The next 10 games for the Reds are against teams in the Central Division and all are currently standing behind the Reds in the standings and sitting under .500

-The Reds are 3-0 in games in which I have attended. Good for 30% of the teams wins. I'm clearly good luck!
