MINOR details 4/10/2012: Billy Hamilton has big night but Blaze lose

Toledo 3 Louisville 1
-The Bats (2-4) lost despite Jeff Francis (0-1) striking out nine over five innings, and allowing just two runs. Ron Mahay and Josh Judy both threw a hitless inning.
-2B Chris Valaika went 2-3 accounting for the only RBI of the night. 1B Danny Dorn and SS Paul Janish had the other two hits. The Bats struck out 12 more times tonight, for a total 67 times in the first six games.

Mobile 3 Pensacola 2
-Pedro Villarreal (0-1) took the loss for the Blue Wahoos (4-2). He pitched six innings, giving up three runs, just one earned, on four hits, while striking out five. Mark Serrano struck out four over two scoreless innings.
-LF Cody Puckett was 1-4 with an RBI. OF P.J. Phillips, younger brother of Brandon, got his first RBI of the season. SS Didi Gregorius went 0-4, while 3B Henry Rodrigues recorded two hits and a run scored.

Stockton 10 Bakersfield 9
-Daniel Renken started for the Blaze (3-3), allowing four earned over 5.1 innings. Brian Pearl (0-1) was the losing pitcher, blowing the save in the top of the ninth by giving up two earned runs.
-SS Billy Hamilton had a nice night going 2-5 with a double, a run scored, and three RBI. He also stole two bases bringing his season total to five. 1B Travis Mattair went 2-4 with two runs scored, and a solo homer. DH Kurtis Muller, LF Donald Lutz, and RF Yorman Rodriguez each had an RBI.

Lansing 6 Dayton 2
-The Dragons (2-3) lost their third game in a row. Starter Carlos Gonzalez (0-1) surrendered four earned runs on three hits and three walks, while striking out five. Daniel Jensen pitched two scoreless innings.
-C Danny Vicioso was 1-3 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI. 2B Ryan Wright and CF Theo Bowe both went 1-3 with a walk, as the Dragons had just three hits. Bowe also swiped his third base of the season.
