MINOR Details 4/14/2012: Dragons and Blue Wahoos win Saturday

Dayton won back-to-back games for the first
time since the first two games of the season.

Columbus 9 Louisville 4
- The Bats (3-7) lost after a rough start from Andrew Brackman (1-1) who gave up five earned runs in just 2/3 of an inning. Kanekoa Texeira followed him with four innings of one-run baseball.
-C Dioner Navarro was big going 2-3 with a solo home run, and finishing with three RBI. 3B Todd Frazier added a solo shot also. SS Paul Janish was 2-4 with a triple and a run scored.

Pensacola 6 Mobile 1
-J.C. Sulbaran (1-0) had a great outing throwing 5.2 scoreless innings, striking out eight for the Blue Wahoos (6-4). Chris Manno pitched a scoreless inning.
-RF Perez Yordanys went 1-3 with a double and three RBI. 1B Mike Costanzo recorded his 12th RBI of the young season. 2B Brodie Greene also chipped in an RBI. SS Didi Gregorius went 3-5 with a run scored, while 3B Henry Rodruigez was 2-5 with a run.

San Jose 6 Bakersfield 4
-The Blaze (3-5) sent Josh Smith (0-2) to the mound. He struck out five, but allowed five runs in 4.2 innings, including two homers. Wilkin De La Rosa, Pat Doyle, and Brooks Pinckard held the Giants scoreless for the rest of the game.
-SS Billy Hamilton continues to play well going 3-4 with two runs scored and his seventh stolen base. He's now hitting .310 on the year. 3B David Vidal had three hits, including a solo shot and two RBI. 1B Donald Lutz also had an RBI.

Dayton 6 South Bend 0
-Stalin Gerson (1-1) surrendered just two hits over six scoreless innings in which he struck out five as the Dragons (4-5) won their second in a row. Dan Jensen (1) scored the save, by pitching the last three innings and allowing just one hit.
-SS Juan Perez hit his first homer of the season, a two-run jack in the fourth. LF Juan Silva went 3-5 with an RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base. RF Kyle Waldrop and CF Theo Bowe each had an RBI also.
