MINOR details 4/21/2012: Blaze continue hot streak with sixth straight win

The Blaze are on fire, pun intended.

Indianapolis 9 Louisville 1
-Jeff Francis (1-2) gave up four earned runs on six hits in five innings for the Bats (5-12). Jordan Smith threw a perfect inning with two strikeouts.
-RF Daryl Jones had the only RBI. LF Denis Phipps went 2-4. SS Paul Janish had a double, while C Corky Miller had the other hit, and scored the only run.

Montgomery 7 Penscola 1
-Curtis Partch (0-2) allowed all seven earned runs in the first inning, lasting just 3.2 innings for the Blue Wahoos (8-9). Tim Gustafson, Drew Hayes, and Chris Manno pitched 4.1 scoreless innings to close the game.
-CF Ryan LaMarre was 2-4 with a triple and a run scored. 1B Joel Guzman had two hits, including the one that scored LaMarre.

Bakersfield 4 San Jose 1
-The Blaze (9-7) keep rolling with their sixth win in a row. Kyle Lotzkar (2-0) hurled six scoreless innings, striking out five. Brian Pearl (3) got the save with a perfect 1.1 innings.
-C Tucker Barnhart's only hit was a two-run home run in the fifth. DH Devin Lohman picked up two hits, including a solo shot and two RBI. SS Billy Hamilton went 0-3 with a walk.

Dayton 5 Quad Cities 1
-The Dragons (8-8) won behind starter Justice French's (3-1) 5.2 innings of one run ball where he struck out six. Ryan Kemp threw 1.1 scoreless innings. Carlos Contreras pitched 2.0 scoreless innings for his first save.
-1B Robert Maddox and CF Jefry Sierra had the only RBI for Dayton. 2B Ryan Wright had two hits and a stolen base.
