|Thunder over Louisville was Saturday, but Daryl Jones|
wanted some more fireworks on Sunday.
-The Bats (6-12) put an end to a five game losing streak with one swing of a bat. Sean Gallagher gave up two earned runs over 5.1 innings. Scott Carroll and J.J. Hoover each threw 1.2 innings of scoreless baseball. Josh Judy (1-0) got the win, pitching a scoreless 1/3 of an inning.
-PH Daryl Jones smacked a pinch-hit, three-run, walk-off home run to win it for Louisville. CF Denis Phipps and 1B Neftali Soto each had one hit, putting them on base before the heroics of Jones.
Montgomery 7 Pensacola 3
-The Blue Wahoos (8-10) lost with starter Daniel Corcino pitching six innings where he allowed three runs, two earned, and struck out six. Clayton Tanner (0-1) took the loss allowing two earned runs in 2/3 of an inning.
-2B Brodie Greene had a huge day going 4-4 with two doubles and all three RBI, and a stolen base. SS Didi Gregorius got two hits and scored a run. 1B Joel Guzman had a double and a run.
Bakersfield 8 San Jose 6
-The winning streak was pushed to seven by the Blaze (10-7) on Sunday. Daniel Renken (3-0) struck out nine over six innings, while allowing three earned runs. Wilkin De La Rosa fanned two in a perfect inning and Daniel Wolford (1) picked up the save with a perfect ninth inning.
-1B Donald Lutz had a two-run shot and two runs scored. LF Juan Duran added a three-run dinger in the fifth inning. RF Yorman Rodriguez was 2-3 with two RBI and a run scored. 2B James Ewing had two hits and an RBI. SS Billy Hamilton was 2-4 with a double and a two runs, and two more stolen bases (16).

-Radhames Quezada pitched seven innings, giving up two runs, just one earned, but the Dragons (8-9) still lost. In his first game coming from the Blaze, Brooks Pinckard threw two perfect innings.
-Oddly enough, SS Juan Perez, DH Ryan Wright, 1B Danny Vicioso, and RF Kyle Waldop each had a double, accouting for all four of Dayton's hits.
