MINOR details 4/25/2012: Minor leaguers unable to collect a victory


It was not a happy day in the minors,
with three losses and a rainout.
Indianapolis 5 Louisville 1
-Brett Tomko (0-3) was perfect through four innings, before allowing two earned runs in his six innings for the Bats (7-14). He struck out eight. Scott Carroll gave up three earned in just 1/3 of an inning. Ron Mahay and Travis Webb pitched 1.2 scoreless innings.
-RF Danny Dorn had two hits, with a double. 1B Neftali Soto had a hit and scored the only run. 3B Mike Costanzo was 2-4, accounting for the RBI.

Jacksonville 6 Pensacola 5
-The Blue Wahoos (9-12) sent Pedro Villarreal to the mound and he gave up five earned runs in five innings. Wilkin De La Rosa, Drew Hayes, and Donnie Joseph combined for three scoreless innings before Justin Freeman (2-2) allowed the walk-off run to score in the bottom of the ninth without getting any outs.
-CF Ryan LaMarre went 2-4 with a double, an RBI, and a stolen base. C Brian Peacock also had two hits and an RBI. SS Didi Gregorius and 3B Henry Rodriguez each knocked in a run as well.

The Bakersfield Blaze (12-7) were rained out Wednesday night. Billy Hamilton is still really good.

Wisconsin 4 Dayton 3
-The Dragons (10-10) lost with starter Stalin Gerson surrendering two earned runs, three total, over five innings. James Allen tossed two scoreless. Jimmy Moran (1-2) was the losing pitcher allowing an earned run in his only inning of work.
-CF Theo Bowe went 2-4 with a triple. 2B Ryan Wright had a hit, a run, and an RBI. RF Steven Selsky had two hits, including a two-run double.
