MINOR details 4/7/2012: Blue Wahoos win on bunt-off

The Blue Wahoos moved to 2-1 on the season
with the walk off win.
Happy Easter! Saturday night was unfriendly to the Reds' organization as only one team was able to win a game. It was an exciting win though, as the Pensacola Blue Wahoos were able to walk off on a bunt single.

Columbus 6 Louisville 4
-Sean Gallagher (0-1) pitched just 3.1 innings, giving up six earned runs on eight hits including two home runs to get saddled with the loss. Kanekoa Texeira (2.2), Josh Judy (1.1), and Ron Mahay (0.2) combined to hold the Clippers scoreless through the rest of the game.
-C Corky Miller went yard with a two-run homer in the eighth. SS Paul Janish was 2-4 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI. DH Bill Rhinehart had the other RBI, going 2-5 with a run scored. 2B Kristopher Negron went 2-4 and stole his second base of the season.

Pensacola 5 Montgomery 4
-Highly touted prospect Daniel Corcino made the start, allowing three earned runs on seven hits through 4.1 innings. He also walked three and struck out five. Clayton Tanner struck out four, while giving up just one hit over 2.2 innings of relief. Justin Freeman pitched a perfect eighth and Donnie Joseph (1-0) pitched a perfect ninth to get the win.
-SS Didi Gregorius and DH Henry Rodriguez went a combined 0-8. Gregorious also committed his second error of the season.
-LF Cody Puckett was 2-3 with an RBI and scored a run. 3B Mike Costanzo came through with a pinch-hit, two-run single in the seventh inning in his only at-bat. The hero was C Brian Peacock who bunted home the winning run, as the Blue Wahoos walked off for the win. He finished 2-4 with a double, two ribeyes and a run scored.

Visalia 5 Bakersfield 4
-Josh Smith (0-1) walked four and gave up three earned runs over 3.2 innings for the loss. Daniel Wolford (2.0) and Brian Pearl (1.0) finished the game with three perfect innings.
-SS Billy Hamilton went 1-3 with a double, a walk, an RBI, a run scored, and his second stolen base of the year. He also committed his second error of the season. LF Donald Lutz had a solo shot in the seventh. OF Yorman Rodriguez accounted for the other RBI, though he went 0-5 on the night, striking out four times.

West Michigan 5 Dayton 4 (11 innings)
-Tanner Robles threw six innings of one run baseball, while striking out seven. Daniel Jensen (0-1) took the loss, allowing an unearned run on two hits and a walk.
-1B Sean Buckley picked up two RBI, on a 2-5 night, including a solo homer in the sixth. RF Ryan Wright was 1-4 with a double, an RBI, and a run scored. RF Steven Selsky went 1-5 with an RBI. SS James Ewing had a nice night going 3-5, with a double and a stolen base.
