MINOR details 4/30/2012: Bats, Dragons fall; Blue Wahoos, Blaze rest

Maybe Louisville and Dayton should have joined
Pensacola and Bakersfield and taken the day off.

Norfolk 6 Louisville 5 (12 innings)
-The Bats (9-16) used six pitchers in the extra-innings loss. Starter Andrew Brackman walked five and gave up three earned runs in just one innings. Ron Mahay and Nick Christiani each threw three scoreless, while Kanekoa Texeira added one scoreless. Travis Webb (1-1) was the loser, allowing the walk-off earned run on four walks and a hit in 1.1 innings.
-C Corky Miller went 3-4. CF Denis Phipps was 1-6 with two RBI. DH Danny Dorn and 1B Neftali Soto added an RBI each. RF Daryl Jones had two hits and two runs.

The Pensacola Blue Wahoos (11-14) had the day off on Monday. They'll welcome the Jackson Generals to town on Tuesday.

The Bakersfield Blaze (14-9) were also off on Monday. They'll host the Lancaster Jethawks on Tuesday.

Beloit 7 Dayton 0
-Stalin Gerson (1-2) took the loss surrendering three earned runs in five innings for the Dragons (12-13). Jimmy Moran and Ryan Kemp each put a goose egg on the board in their one inning of work.
-SS Juan Perez was 2-4 for the game. 2B Brandon Dailey and 1B Danny Vicioso each had a double. LF Juan Silva had the other hit.
