MINOR details 5/11/2012: Dragons rally late to get a win

After blowing a four-run lead, the Dragons
still managed to come out victorious.
Lehigh Valley 4 Louisville 1
-The Bats (11-25) lost despite another quality start from Brett Tomko (0-4) who went 6.1 innings, allowing three earned runs. Jordan Smith tossed a scoreless inning for Louisville.
-There wasn't much doing for the Bats who got just three hits. One of those, however, was a solo home run from SS Kris Negron. CF Denis Phipps and 3B Mike Costanzo had the other hits.

Birmingham 6 Pensacola 4
-J.C. Sulbaran continues to look good on the mound, striking out five, while giving up just two earned runs over his six innings for the Blue Wahoos (16-20). Justin Freeman (2-3) was charged with a blown save and the loss by getting just two outs and letting four earned cross the plate. Drew Hayes and Clayton Tanner each threw a scoreless inning.
-DH Joel Guzman had two hits and a run scored. LF Cody Puckett hit his fifth homer of the year and scored two runs. 3B Miguel Rojas drove in a pair, and RF P.J. Phillips also had an RBI.

Inland Empire 4 Bakersfield 3
-Josh Smith allowed two earned runs over five innings for the Blaze (20-14). Daniel Wolford (2-1) took the loss giving up two earned runs in 1.1 innings of work. Curtis Partch hurled 1.2 innings of scoreless ball.
-SS Billy Hamilton went 0-4 and is currently hitting .352. 1B Donald Lutz was 1-3 with a double and two RBI. DH Travis Mattair had a double and a run scored. C Chris Berset had the only other hit.

Dayton 5 Lake County 4
-An eighth inning run gave the Dragons (14-21) the win. Starter Stalin Gerson struck out six over five shutout innings. Kyle McMyne (3-2) got the win with 1.2 scoreless innings. Brooks Pinckard got the save (2) with a scoreless ninth.
-SS Brandon Dailey was 2-5 with a run. 2B Ryan Wright had three RBI on two hits. DH Kyle Waldrop was 3-4 with an RBI. RF Steve Selsky knocked in the winning run in the eighth.
