MINOR details 5/13/12: For Blue Wahoos, two wins are better than one

Pensacola picked up two wins on the day.

The Louisville Bats (11-26) were rained out on Monday and will make it up in a double-header against the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs on Monday.

Pensacola 8 Birmingham 0
-Game one of the doubleheader was all Blue Wahoos (17-20). Kyle Lotzkar (1-1) was the winner throwing 6.1 innings of shutout baseball. Chris Manno added a perfect inning.
-CF Ryan LaMarre and SS Didi Gregorius each had an RBI. 2B Brodie Greene was 2-5 with two ribeyes. C Koyie Hill was 3-3, with a double, a solo home run (1) and three runs scored. OF P.J. Phillips also had three hits, including a double and an RBI. RF Josh Fellhauer also knocked in a run.

Pensacola 4 Birmingham 2
-The second game was a harder-fought-for win by the Blue Wahoos (18-20). Mark Serrano gave up two earned runs in five innings pitched. Curtis Partch (1-2) got the win with a perfect inning, while Donnie Joseph grabbed the save (6) with one of his own, in which he struck out two.
-Pensacola was homer-happy with RF Josh Fellhauer providing the biggest knock with a two-run homer (1). 3B Cody Puckett (6) and 1B Yordanys Perez (1) each added a solo shot.

The Bakersfield Blaze (20-15) had an off-day on Sunday. They'll battle the Stockon Ports on Monday night at 7:30pm local time.

Lansing 6 Dayton 3
-It was a losing effort for the Dragons (14-23) as starter Dan Jensen (1-3) allowed four total runs, three earned, in 3.2 innings. Kyle McMyne managed two scoreless.
-SS Juan Perez had a hit and an RBI. RF Steve Selsky was 2-4 with a double and an RBI. CF Jefry Sierra also drove home a run.
