MINOR details 5/16/12: Bats, Dragons continue to struggle

The minor leaguers made this baseball sad again.
Rochester 4 Louisville 1
-Chad Reineke (1-4) gave up all four runs, three of them earned, while striking out eight over five innings for the Bats (12-29). Carlos Fisher threw three scoreless innings.
-CF Felix Perez was 2-3 on the day. 3B Kris Negron had a hit, two stolen bases, and scored the lone run.

The Blue Wahoos (19-21) were off on Wednesday and will travel to face the Jacksonsville Suns on Thursday at 6:35pm local time.

Stockton 5 Bakersfield 4
-Stockton snapped a 16-game losing streak by beating the Blaze (23-16). Chad Rogers tossed five innings of two-run baseball. Daniel Wolford (3-2) pitched 1.2 innings and took the loss, allowing the winning run in the ninth.
-SS Billy Hamilton walked twice, scored a run, and stole three bases (38). 2B Devin Lohman and 1B Dominc D'Anna each had an RBI. CF Bryson Smith had two hits, including a solo home run (4). RF Theo Bowe added a solo shot (2) in the seventh.

Bowling Green 4 Dayton 1
-Stalin Gerson threw five shutout innings, but the Dragons (14-26) dropped their fifth straight game. Michael Dennhardt (0-1) was charged with the loss after giving up three earned runs in his lone inning of work.
-SS Juan Perez was 2-4 with a triple and a run scored. CF Steve Selsky had a hit and the RBI. RF Kyle Waldrop collected a double.
