MINOR details 5/18/12: Cingrani strikes out 12, but Blaze lose


 
Pensacola and Dayton were able to grab wins on Friday.








Rochester 5 Louisville 3
-Jeff Francis (2-5) gave up four earned runs on eight hits over five innings for the Bats (13-30). Scott Carroll threw 1.1 innings of scoreless baseball.
-2B Willie Harris had a hit and an RBI. CF Felix Perez was 3-4 with a solo home run (1) and two runs scored. SS Miguel Rojas drove in a run.

Pensacola 2 Jacksonville 1
-Tim Gustafson (2-0) gave up just one earned run in 5.2 innings for the Blue Wahoos (20-22). Justin Freeman tossed 1.2 scoreless innings. Donnie Joseph got the save (8) with a perfect 1.1 innings.
-1B Joel Guzman was 2-4 with a run. C Mark Fleury had a hit and a scored a run. LF Yordanys Perez was 2-3 and drove in both runs.

Lake Elsinore 6 Bakersfield 3
-The Blaze (23-18) wasted a great start from Tony Cingrani who struck out 12 over six innings, while allowing just one earned run. Brooks Pinckard (0-1) took the loss surrendering five earned runs in just one inning. Michael Griffin threw a scoreless inning.
-SS Billy Hamilton went 0-4. 1B Donald Lutz was 2-4 with an RBI. C Chris Berset had a double and scored a run. DH James Ewing knocked in a run also.

Dayton 3 Bowling Green 2
-The Dragons (15-27) got six innings of two-run baseball from Dan Jensen (2-3). Carlos Contreras recorded a hold by hurling two scoreless innings. Kyle McMyne picked up his first save for the Dragons.
-2B Ryan Wright was 2-5 with a run scored. DH Josef Terry collected the only RBI for the team.
