MINOR details 5/19/12: Bats bats erupt in 9-2 win; Blaze need 16 innings

The Bats blasted three homers in their victory, Saturday night.
Louisville 9 Lehigh Valley 2
-The Bats (14-30) got six innings of one-run ball from Sean Gallagher (3-3) in the win. Carlos Fisher tossed a scoreless ninth inning.
-SS-CF Kris Negron went 3-6, including a three-run home run (3), two runs scored, and a stolen base. 3B Chris Valaika was 3-4, with a solo shot (3), and a pair of RBI and a pair of runs. RF Bill Rhinehart added two hits and an RBI. 1B Neftali Soto hit a fourth-inning two-run homer (4) and had three total ribbies. LF Danny Dorn collected two doubles and scored two runs.

Pensacola 6 Jacksonville 5
-Kyle Lotzkar threw four scoreless innings for the Blue Wahoos (21-22). Mark Serrano (3-0) got the win despite allowing two earned runs in 2.1 innings. Donnie Joseph pitched another scoreless inning en route to his ninth save and a tidy 0.40 ERA on the season.
-CF Ryan LaMarre was 3-4 with two doubles and two runs scored. 2B Brodie Greene had two hits, with a double, two RBI, and a run. 1B Joel Guzman hit a two-run jack (6) and finished with three RBI. 3B David Vidal recorded his first Double-A RBI.

Bakersfield 4 Lake Elsinore 2 (16 innings)
-Justice French gave up two earned runs on six hits over six innings on a long night for the Blaze (24-18). Pat Doyle (1.0), Brian Pearl (2.0), and Daniel Wolford (2.0) combined to throw five perfect innings of relief. Chris Joyce yielded three hits over what were three otherwise scoreless innings. Michael Griffin (2-3) got the win holding the opposition scoreless over the final two frames.
-SS Billy Hamilton was 1-6, with a runs scored and his 40th stolen base. 2B Devin Lohman knocked in a run. RF Jaren Matthews was 2-7 with a double and an RBI. 3B Travis Mattair went 4-7, with a double and drove in both runs in the 16th inning for the win.

Great Lakes 14 Dayton 3
-The Dragons (15-28) got pounded last night, with starter Radhames Quezada (1-5) allowing five earned runs in 4.1 innings. Lucas O'Rear gave up another five earned in his 2.2 innings pitched. It was a forgettable night for the pitching staff.
-DH Ryan Wright had two hits, including a double and two RBI. 2B Josef Terry contributed the other RBI.
