MINOR details 5/23/12: 16 hits not enough for Dragons

The Dragons suffered two blown saves in their loss.
 The Louisville Bats (15-32) were off on Wednesday. They travel to Indianapolis on Thursday for a 7:05pm start time.

-Tim Gustafson (2-1) gave up five earned runs on eight hits in five innings for the Blue Wahoos (22-24). Chris Manno struck out three in two scoreless innings, while Mark Serrano added a scoreless frame.
-Pensacola mustered just three hits, one each from SS Didi Gregorius and LF Yordanys Perez who also scored a run. 3B David Vidal had the other hit and drove in a run. 1B Stephen Hunt also recorded an RBI.

The Bakersfield Blaze (26-19) also had an off day on Wednesday. They'll send lefty Tony Cingrani (4-1, 0.78) to the mound Thursday at 7:05pm local time, as they start a three-game series with the first-place San Jose Giants, whom they trail by 2.5 games.

-Jacob Johnson went five innings, allowing just one unearned run for the Dragons (17-29). Carlos Contreras took the loss (0-1) giving up four earned runs on two hits and three walks in just 2/3 of an inning.
-Dayton tallied 16 hits in the loss with Josef Terry leading the way, going 3-5 with a double, an RBI, and a run scored. 2B Ryan Wright had two hits with a double, two RBI, and two runs. C Nick O'Shea had two hits and an RBI. 1B Sean Buckley also had two hits with a double, and three RBI.
