MINOR details 5/26/12: Split! Bats, Dragons win; Blue Wahoos, Blaze lose

Louisville 5 Indianapolis 4
-The Bats (16-34) got seven innings of two-run baseball from Sean Gallagher (4-3). Travis Webb tossed a scoreless inning. Jordan Smith got the save (4), despite giving up two earned runs in the ninth.
-CF Joey Gathright had a hit, an RBI, and a stolen base. LF Felix Perez was 1-2, driving in and scoring a run. RF Danny Dorn was 2-3 with a run scored, and also stole a base.

Mississippi 7 Pensacola 3
-Daniel Corcino pitched six innings, striking out seven, and giving up just two earned runs for the Blue Wahoos (23-26). Mark Serrano (3-1) could not get an out and was charged with the blown save and the loss, as he faced six hitters, allowing six straight hits and four earned runs. Clayton Tanner threw the final two scoreless innings.
-3B David Vidal was 2-4 with a double and a run. C Brian Peacock had a hit and two RBI. RF Andrew Means added two hits, including a solo home run (1).

San Jose 8 Bakersfield 2
-The Blaze (26-22) got swept by the first-place Giants to fall 5.5 games behind them in the standings. Daniel Renken struck out six, and allowed only one earned run over his 5.1 innings. Pat Doyle (3-2) walked four and gave up three earned runs for the loss.
-SS Billy Hamilton had a hit, a run, and a stolen base (47). 2B Devin Lohman (2-4) and 3B Travis Mattair (2-3) each collected two hits and an RBI. C Chris Berset scored the other run.

Dayton 8 West Michigan 6
-The Dragons (18-31) won despite starter Tanner Robles giving up six earned runs in 5.2 innings. Ryan Kemp (1-0) got the win tossing 2.1 shutout innings with three strikeouts. Carlos Contreras got the save (3) with a perfect ninth.
-CF Kurtis Muller finished 2-3, with a solo shot (2), two RBI, and three runs scored. DH Josef Terry, 2B Ryan Wright, and 1B Danny Vicioso each added two hits and an RBI, with Vicioso collecting a double. RF Kyle Waldrop and C Yovan Gonzalez each chipped in an RBI as well.
