MINOR details 5/29/12: Cingrani continues to impress

Cingrani is now 5-1 with a 1.11 ERA.
Syracuse 6 Louisville 2
-Jeff Francis (2-6) gave up four earned runs over 6.2 innings as the Bats (17-36) lost again. Carlos Fisher tossed a scoreless inning.
-SS Kris Negron had two hits, including a double. CF Joey Gathright was 3-5 with two RBI, and is hitting .412 in his short time with the Bats. 3B Willie Harris was 4-4 with a double.

Jackson 4 Pensacola 2
-It was a loss for the Blue Wahoos (24-28) as J.C. Sulbaran gave up four earned runs in six innings. Curtis Partch and Justin Freeman each threw a perfect inning.
-2B Brodie Greene went 2-3 with a double and an RBI. 1B Joel Guzman also drove in a run. 3B David Vidal collected a double.

Bakersfield 5 Inland Empire 3
-Tony Cingrani (5-3) threw 5.1 innings of one-run baseball in a win for the Blaze (28-23). Kyle McMyne threw a perfect 1.2 innings. Brian Pearl picked up his eighth save of the season.
-SS Billy Hamilton was 1-4 with a walk, and a couple steals (54). 2B Devin Lohman and 3B Niko Vasquez each had two hits, with a double, an RBI, and a run scored. 1B Travis Mattair led the way with three hits, a double, and a run. LF Juan Duran also recorded two hits and an RBI. DH James Ewing finished 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and a run.

West Michigan 8 Dayton 0
-Dan Jensen (2-5) allowed six earned runs in three innings for the Dragons (19-33). James Allen struck out three over two perfect innings. Michael Dennhardt also tossed a scoreless frame.
-CF Kurtis Muller went 3-4 on the game. 1B Sean Buckley had two hits, with a double.
