MINOR details 5/30/12: Three (wins) is a magic number

Syracuse 2 Louisville 1
-Brett Tomko (0-6) cannot catch a break. Despite lowering his ERA to 3.12, and tossing 6.2 innings of two-run baseball the Bats (17-37) still lost. Carlos Fisher added two scoreless frames.
-Tomko also went 1-2, providing his only run support with an RBI. 2B Cody Puckett recorded two hits and the only run.

Pensacola 7 Jackson 3
-Kyle Lotzkar (2-1) struck out eight, allowing just two runs over six innings for the Blue Wahoos (25-28). Drew Hayes threw two scoreless innings of relief.
-SS Didi Gregorius, RF Josh Fellhauer, and 1B-LF Stephen Hunt all had a hit and an RBI. LF-2B P.J. Phillips went 2-5 with a double, an RBI, and two runs scored. C Mark Fleury collected two doubles, two RBI, and a run.

Bakersfield 7 San Jose 5
-The Blaze (29-23) pulled to within 2.5 games of the first place Giants by beating them Wednesday. Starter Justice French gave up all five runs in 3.2 innings. Pat Doyle (4-2) struck out one in 3.1 perfect innings for the win. Jamie Walczak got his first save by tossing two scoreless.
-SS Billy Hamilton went 1-4 with a steal (55). CF Bryson Smith, 3B Travis Mattair, 1B Dominic D'Anna, and DH Jaren Matthews each provided an RBI. LF Juan Duran collected two ribbies and a run on two hits.

Dayton 9 South Bend 6
-Radhames Quezada (2-6) got the win, striking out eight over five innings of one-run baseball for the Dragons (19-34). El'Hajj Muhammad hurled two scoreless innings.
-CF Kurtis Muller went 2-3 with a solo home run (3), and scored three runs. 3B Joe Terry recorded two hits and two RBI. LF Steve Selsky and RF Kyle Waldrop each drove in a run. C Yovan Gonzalez smacked a three-run double in the fifth.
