MINOR details 5/3/2012: Is nine innings or just one game ever enough?

There was lots of bonus baseball with two extra-innings affairs
and a double header on Thursday.
Louisville 4 Durham 3 (11 innings)
-The Bats (10-18) were able to hold off the Bulls in extras. Sean Gallagher struck out six, while allowing three earned runs in seven innings. Kanekoa Texeira threw 1.2 innings of scoreless ball. Travis Webb (2-1) got the win with two perfect innings and three strikeouts. Nick Christiani (1) got the save by getting the final out of the game.
-CF Denis Phipps hit a solo home run. RF Danny Dorn was 2-5 with a triple and an RBI. DH Bill Rhinehart had three hits, including a double and an RBI, but it was 1B Neftali Soto who hit the go-ahead solo shot in to lead off the top of the 11th inning.

Jackson 3 Pensacola 1 (Game 1)
-Pedro Villareal (1-2) gave up three runs over six innings for the Blue Wahoos (12-15). Wilkin De La Rosa hurled a scoreless inning.
-3B Henry Rodriguez went 2-3 with the lone RBI. CF Ryan LaMarre was the only other batter to get a hit in the first game of the double header.

Pensacola 1 Jackson 0 (Game 2)
-The Blue Wahoos (13-15) won the second game behind six scoreless innings from Daniel Corcino (2-1). Donnie Joseph picked up his fifth save by striking out two in a perfect inning.
-2B Brodie Greene had a hit and the RBI. 3B Rodriguez had a hit and scored the run.

Lancaster 8 Bakersfield 6
-Kyle Lotzkar gave up four earned runs, five total, over 4.2 innings in the Blaze (15-11) loss. Pat Doyle (1-1) was saddled with the loss allowing three total runs in 1.2 innings, though just one was earned. Jamie Walczak struck out five in two shutout innings.
-SS Billy Hamilton had two hits, a run scored, and a stolen base (31). DH Josef Terry knocked in a run. 3B David Vidal was 2-3 with a three-run homer and two runs scored. LF Juan Duran hit a sixth-inning two-run shot.

Lake County 5 Dayton 4 (10 innings)
-There was lots of extra baseball Thursday, and the Dragons (12-15) were in on the act, losing in 10 innings. Radhames Quezada gave up two total runs, just one earned, in six innings. Kyle McMyne (2-2) was the losing pitcher letting an earned run cross in his two innings of work.
-CF Jefry Siera, 2B Ryan Wright, 3B Junior Arias, and C Yovan Gonzalez each had a hit and an RBI. LF Juan Silva went 3-5 with a run scored, while RF Steve Selksy was 2-5 with a run. DH Miguel Cairo went 0-4 in the first game of his rehab assignment.
