-Pedro Villarreal (1-0) made his Triple-A debut with the Bats (11-23) and gave up two earned runs in 5.2 innings, while striking out seven. Some unfortunate errors resulted in five total runs scoring during his pitching tenure. Kanekoa Texeira, Nick Christiani, Travis Webb, and Jordan Smith held the Tides to two hits and no runs for the rest of the game with Smith getting the save (2).
-SS-CF Kris Negron and C Dioner Navarro each had an RBI. CF-RF Denis Phipps and 3B Mike Costanzo each had a hit and drove in a run. DH Bill Rhinehart blasted a solo home run in the second. 2B Chris Valaika had two hits and a run scored.

-CF Ryan LaMarre was 3-3 with a double, two RBI and a run scored. 2B Brodie Greene drove in a run. SS Didi Gregorius was 0-3, dropping his average to .296.

-SS Billy Hamilton was back to his normal ways, with two hits, two runs, and a stolen base (32). CF Bryson Smith went 2-3 with four RBI. C Tucker Barnhart was 2-4, scoring two runs, and knocking in two RBI.
Lake County 4 Dayton 1
-Daniel Tuttle lasted just 1.1 innings for the Dragons (13-20), allowing an earned run. James Allen (1-1) was saddled with the loss, pitching 4.2 innings with one earned run. Kyle McMyne struck out two in a scoreless inning.
-2B Ryan Wright did not have one of the Dragons' four hits, but drove in the only run. SS Juan Perez, LF Steve Selsky, C Yovan Gonzalez, and CF Theo Bowe each had a hit.
