MINOR details 5/31/12: Dragons walk off with three-run ninth

It was a walk off for the Dragons.
The Louisville Bats (17-37) were rained out on Thursday. They’ll host the Durham Bulls Friday night at 7:05pm.

The Pensacola Blue Wahoos’ (25-28) game was also washed away by rain. It looks like they’ll make it up with a pair of seven-inning games Friday beginning at 5:05pm against the Jackson Generals.

-The Blaze (30-23) won their 30th game and pulled to within 1.5 games of the first place Giants with their fourth straight win. Daniel Renken allowed just one unearned run over seven strong innings. Brooks Pinckard (2-1) got the win with two scoreless innings. Jamie Walczak picked up his second save of the season.
-SS Billy Hamilton went 3-6 with three runs scored, and two steals (57). CF Bryson Smith had two hits including a double and two RBI. 1B Travis Mattair also doubled and drove in two runs. C Danny Vicioso was 2-6 with a double and three RBI.

-Starter Tanner Robles gave up six earned runs in 4.1 innings for the Dragons (20-34). Michael Dennhardt (1-1) tossed 2.1 perfect innings for the win.
-SS Juan Perez scored a run and also drove in one run. CF Kurtis Muller was 2-3 with a solo home run (4), two RBI, and two runs. 1B Sean Buckley had three hits with a double and an RBI. 3B Junior Arias had two hits and two ribbies. LF Steve Selsky added a triple and an RBI. DH Joe Terry went 2-4, including driving in the winning run in the bottom of a three-run ninth inning.
