MINOR details 6/12/11: Billy Hamilton steals number 73

Hamilton stole another one last night.
Bats (21-46), Last place International League West, 18.0 GB
-Sean Gallagher (L 5-4, 5.15) gave up five total runs, four of them earned, in just three innings. Nick Christiani had a scoreless outing, but he only had to get one out.
-DH Mike Costanzo was 2-4, with a three-run home run (4). LF Felix Perez hit a solo shot (2). 3B Willie Harris, 2B Cody Puckett, and 1B Danny Dorn each added an RBI.

The Pensacola Blue Wahoos (31-33, 3rd place Southern League South, 6.5 GB) were off on Tuesday night. They'll return to action against the Mobile BayBears, Wednesday night at 7:00pm.

Stockton 9 Bakersfield 5 (Game 1)
-Justice French (L 0-2, 4.83) allowed six earned runs in just 2.2 innings. Michael Griffin gave up an earned run in two innings of work.
-SS Billy Hamilton was 1-3, with a run. CF Theo Bowe, 2B Devin Lohman, 3B Travis Mattair, DH Juan Duran, and RF Jaren Matthews all had one hit and one RBI.

Blaze (39-27), 1st place California League North, 4.0 up
-Josh Smith (W 5-4, 3.75) pitched all seven innings, striking out nine, while allowing just the one earned run.
-SS Billy Hamilton went 3-4, with his 73rd stolen base. 2B Niko Vasquez had two hits, with a double, an RBI, and a run. C Tucker Barnhart also drove in a run. RF Jaren Matthews was 2-3, with a solo homer (1), two RBI, and two runs.

Dragons (27-38), Last place Midwest League Eastern, 17.5 GB
-Stalin Gerson (L 3-5, 4.65) took the loss giving up six earned runs in five innings, though he did strike out eight batters. Dan Jensen threw two perfect innings. El’Hajj Muhammad tossed one scoreless.
-SS Juan Perez had two hits, an RBI, and three steals. LF Juan Silva had a hit and an RBI. 1B Sean Buckley went 1-4, with a two-run shot (4).
