MINOR details 6/13/12: Walk off suicide squeeze for Blue Wahoos

Pensacola squeezed out a win.
The Louisville Bats (21-46, Last place International League West, 18.0 GB) enjoyed an off-day Wednesday night. They’ll take on the Rochester Red Wings at 7:05pm on Thursday evening at Slugger Field.

Blue Wahoos (31-33), 3rd place Southern League South, 6.5 GB
-It took eight pitchers to get through 11 innings, with Tim Crabbe being the first. He struck out seven and gave up two earned runs in 4.1 innings. Justin Freeman threw two scoreless innings, with three strikeouts. Wilkin De La Rosa, Mark Serrano, and Curtis Partch (W 3-3, 5.56) each tossed a perfect inning, with Partch getting the win.
-CF Ryan LaMarre and RF Josh Fellhauer both went 1-4, with an RBI and a run. SS Didi Gregorius had two doubles, an RBI, and a run. C Mark Fleury finished 3-4, with a double, an RBI, and run, including driving in Fellhauer for the winning run on a squeeze play in the bottom of the 11th.

Blaze (39-28), 1st place California League North, 3.0 up
-Andrew Brackman pitched 4.1 innings, allowing just one unearned run. Daniel Wolford (L 6-4, 4.86) suffered the loss, surrendering four earned runs in just 2/3 of an inning.
-SS Billy Hamilton had a double, a run scored, and a steal (74). 3B Travis Mattair went 2-4, with a three-run home run (8), four total RBI, and two runs. C Tucker Barnhart had two hits, with two RBI.

Dragons (28-38), Last place Midwest League Eastern, 17.5 GB
-Starter Jacob Johnson allowed seven runs to score, three of them earned, in four innings. Lucas O’Rear tossed two scoreless innings. James Allen (W 3-2, 4.14) got the win with two scoreless innings of his own. Carlos Contreras picked up his sixth save.
-CF Jefry Sierra was 4-5, with two RBI and a run scored. 2B Joe Terry had two hits, including a double and three RBI. DH Ryan Wright also had two hits, with a double and an RBI. 1B Sean Buckley hit a two-run shot (5).
