MINOR details 6/20/12: At least the AZL Reds beat the AZL Indians

Bats (25-49), Last place International League West, 19.0 GB
-Chad Reineke struck out five and gave up three earned runs in 5.1 innings. Wirfin Obispo followed him with a scoreless inning. Bill Bray (W 1-0, 7.20) got the win with a hitless inning. Jordan Smith picked up the save (8) with a perfect inning.
-LF Felix Perez was 3-3, with two doubles, an RBI, and a run scored. C Corky Miller had a hit and two RBI. SS Miguel Rojas also drove in a run.

Mustangs (2-1), T-1st place Pioneer League West, --- GB
-Lucas O’Rear went three innings, allowing one earned run. Alejandro Chacin (W 1-0, 18.00) was the winner, despite surrendering three earned runs in his one inning of work. Matt Wiley got the save (1) by getting the last out of the game.
-SS Sammy Diaz had a double, two RBI, and a run. RF Jesse Winker drove in a run and scored one of his own. 1B Carlos Sanchez hit the Mustangs’ first home run of the year, with a three run shot (1) in the eighth. C Fray Sosa and DH Brandon Dailey each knocked in a run.

Reds (1-0), T-1st place Arizona League, --- GB
-Pedro Diaz gave up two runs, one earned, in three innings. Wandy Peralta (W 1-0, 12.00) managed to get the win after giving up four earned runs in three innings. Michael Salter struck out three in two scoreless innings. Richard McCaffrey tossed a perfect inning to finish the game.
-2B Ty Washington, SS Brent Peterson, and CF Elliott Hargreaves each drove in a run. 3B Tanner Rahier went 2-5, with two-run jack (1), three total RBI and a steal. 1B Algenis Aldazoro had two hits, including a triple, a two-run homer (1), and two runs.

The Pensacola Blue Wahoos return to action when they visit the Chattanooga Lookouts on Thursday night with a 6:15pm start time.

The Bakersfield Blaze start the second half at the home of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, Thursday evening at 7:05pm.

The Dayton Dragons don’t get underway until Friday, when they welcome the Bowling Green Hot Rods to town at 7:00pm.
