MINOR details 6/3/12: Francis goes the distance as Bats win

Francis got the CG-SO.
Bats (18-39), Last place International League West, 15.5 GB
-Jeff Francis (W, 3-6, 3.72) was dominant in the complete game shutout, striking out four and allowing seven hits and a walk.
-CF Joey Gathright picked him up on the offensive side going 3-4, with a double, three RBI, and a steal. RF Bill Rhinehart had a double and an RBI, while C Brian Peacock had a double and two ribbies. 2B Cody Puckett had two hits, a steal, and drove in a run.

Blue Wahoos (25-32), 4th place Southern League South, 7.0 GB
-Tony Cingrani made his double-A debut, going 6.2 innings, striking out five and allowing two earned runs. Donnie Joseph (L, 4-2, 0.93) gave up a hit, and walked two en route to two total runs, one of them earned to take the loss.
-CF Ryan LaMarre was 3-4, with an RBI and two runs scored. SS Didi Gregorius added two hits and two RBI. 2B Brodie Greene had two hits and an RBI.

Blaze (32-24), 1st place California League North, 0.5 up
-Andrew Brackman made the start, giving up four earned runs in 4.2 innings. Justice French (L, 0-1, 3.58) gave up just one earned in three innings, but got the loss. Chris Joyce tossed 1.1 scoreless innings.
-SS Billy Hamilton went 2-5, with a double, a run and his 62nd steal. 3B Niko Vasquez hit a two-run home run (1) in the second, while 2B Devin Lohman added a two-run shot (7) of his own in the third inning, and stole a base.

Dragons (22-35), Last place Midwest League Eastern, 17.5 GB
-Daniel Tuttle started and threw four scoreless innings. Dan Jensen (W, 3-5, 4.70) was awarded the win despite giving up two earned runs in 1.2 innings. Ryan Kemp hurled a scoreless inning, and Carlos Contreras matched him for his fifth save of the season.
-SS Juan Perez had a hit and an RBI. 1B Sean Buckley added an RBI of his own. RF Kyle Waldrop, C-1B Nick O’Shea, and DH Juan Silva all went 1-3 with an RBI, and a run scored. Perez and Silva each stole a base as well.
