MINOR details 6/5/12: Sulbaran strikes out 10

Sulbaran was dominant on Tuesday night.
Bats (18-41), Last place International League West, 16.5 GB
-Tim Gustafson (L 0-1, 6.75) took the loss giving up three earned runs over four innings. Josh Judy and Scott Carroll both surrendered four earned runs in two innings pitched.
-1B Neftali Soto was 2-4, driving in the only run with a solo home run (7). LF Felix Perez and Gustafson had the only other hits.

Blue Wahoos (27-32), 4th place Southern League South, 6.0 GB
-J.C. Sulbaran (W 4-4, 4.40) struck out 10 and allowed just two earned runs over 6.1 innings for the win. Wilkin De La Rosa got four of his five outs via the strikeout. Clayton Tanner tossed a perfect ninth.
-CF Ryan LaMarre was 2-4, with a solo shot (2), two RBI, and run scored. 2B Brodie Greene had two hits, including a triple, two RBI, and a run. 3B David Vidal finished 3-3, with an RBI and a run. RF Andrew Means also added three hits, an RBI, and a run. Sulbaran also drove in one of his own.

Blaze (33-25), 1st place California League North, 1.5 up
-Daniel Renken tossed eight masterful innings, allowing no runs and just three hits while striking out six in a no-decision. Kyle McMyne (L 0-1, 6.75) was saddled with the loss, giving up two earned runs in 1.1 innings.
-SS Billy Hamilton went 0-4. CF Bryson Smith had a hit and the RBI. 1B Dominic D’Anna was 2-4, with a double.

The Dayton Dragons (23-35) were off Tuesday, and will return to action Wednesday night at 7:00pm against the Lake County Captains. The Dragons sport the second-worst record in the entire league, and currently sit in last place in the Midwest League Eastern Division, 17.5 games out of first place
