MINOR details 6/6/12: Billy Hamilton runs wild in Blaze win

This guy is a lot faster than you.
-Pedro Villarreal tossed six innings of one-run baseball. Nick Christiani (L 0-3, 3.60) got only one out before allowing the winning, walk-off run to score.
-3B Willie Harris had a hit and a run scored. LF-CF Felix Perez smacked a double and drove in the only run.

Bats (18-43), Last place International League West, 17.0 GB
-Wirfin Obispo struck out five in five hitless, shutout innings. Travis Webb (L 2-4, 5.01) was charged with the loss, allowing one earned run in his two innings.
-The Bats barely avoided getting no-hit, with 1B Neftali Soto getting the only hit.

Blue Wahoos (27-33), 4th place Southern League South, 6.0 GB
-Daniel Corcino (L 2-4, 3.77) gave up two earned runs in five innings, while also striking out five. Chris Manno and Drew Hayes each hurled two scoreless innings.
-CF Ryan LaMarre led the way, going 3-4, with a run scored. RF Josh Fellhauer drove in the only run.

Blaze (34-25), 1st place California League North, 1.5 up
-Chad Rogers (W 4-2, 2.24) yielded just one earned run over 7.2 for the win. Pat Doyle earned his first save striking out three of the four batters he faced.
-SS Billy Hamilton was 1-3, with two walks, a run scored and FOUR steals (67). CF Bryson Smith drove in a run on a hit. 1B Dominic D’Anna hit a two-run home run in the second inning. DH Juan Duran also drove in a run.

*Josh Smith was named the California League Pitcher of the Week ending June 3rd.

Dragons (24-35), Last place Midwest League Eastern, 17.0 GB
-Tanner Robles (W 4-3, 4.45) struck out four and gave up two earned runs in six innings. Michael Dennhardt tossed two perfect innings of relief. Ryan Kemp got the save (3) with a scoreless ninth.
-3B Joe Terry went 2-3, with two doubles and a run. RF Kyle Waldrop had a hit, an RBI, and a run. 1B Sean Buckley smacked a double to drive in two runs, and also scored one.
