| Negron has great hair too. |
The right-handed hitting Negron owned a .212/.291/.336 slash line with five home runs and 16 RBI overall with the Louisville Bats so far this year. He also stole 15 bases through 58 games. He hit .239 in May with five homers and 12 RBI. He was off to a rough start in June going 0-for-16 to start the month. The fact that he received a promotion goes to show how thin the Redlegs are for major league-ready talent. Hopefully he can provide a spark off the bench, while providing some relief to the regulars on defense, especially with Drew Stubbs nursing a fresh injury near his oblique area.
Here's part of the reason they call him Spider-Man:
Costanzo hit .056 with two RBI in his first major league stint with the Reds. He had been hitting .303 with six homers and 24 RBI between Pensacola and Louisville in the minors before getting called up.
