Here is a look at the Good, Bad, and Notables from this evenings game.
The Good
-A Reds win over the hated Cardinals is always a good thing. The win also guarantees a series win with the potential for a sweep tomorrow night on Sunday Night Baseball.
-Ryan Ludwick ended a 9 pitch at-bat in the 10th inning with a game ending solo-blast. His 13th of the season.
-Jay Bruce, Zack Cozart also knocked in a run each
-Bruce, Brandon Phillips and Scott Rolen all had 2 hits
The Bad
-Cozart, Joey Votto, and Devin Mesoraco all failed to get a hit.
-The team went 1-8 with runners in scoring position
-The Reds also left 11 runners on base.
- Bruce had an error and Mesoraco had a passed ball
The Notables
-The home crowd has had a strong showing in these two games. Yesterday was a sellout while today's attendance was 37,583. Both games have also gone well past the 3 hour mark.
- The Reds are also looking for the sweep tomorrow and another sellout. For those interested the Reds #Tweetup is also tomorrow night.
