MINOR details 7/12/12: Billy Hamilton debuts for Blue Wahoos

Bats (33-59), Last place International League West, 24.0 GB
The Bats are currently enjoying their own All-Star break. Dioner Navarro was selected as Louisville’s representative for the International League All-Stars. They were shut out by the Pacific Coast League All-Stars last night. Though selected, Navarro did not participate in the game.
The Bats will return to action Thursday, July 12 against the Gwinnett Braves at 7:05pm EST at Slugger Field in Louisville.

Blue Wahoos (46-43, 12-8), T-1st place Southern League South, --- up
-Tim Crabbe (L 3-6, 4.90) took the loss allowing four earned runs in five innings. Brian Pearl and Wilkin De La Rosa each tossed a scoreless inning.
-SS Billy Hamilton made his Double-A debut, tripling to drive in the only run and of course stealing his first base at that level. He now has 105 on the season. 1B Beau Mills recorded a double.

Blaze (49-41, 8-12), 3rd place California League North, 5.5 GB
-Tanner Robles (W 1-0, 0.00) struck out seven in five shutout innings. Andrew Brackman hurled two perfect innings. Michael McMyne threw one scoreless.
-CF Kurtis Muller and DH Donald Lutz each had a hit and an RBI. 1B Travis Mattair was 3-5, with a solo home run (12) and two runs scored. C Chris Berset and 2B Niko Vasquez both had two hits, an RBI, and two runs scored. 2B James Ewing was 2-3, with two RBI, and a run.

Dragons (37-52, 7-12), Last place Midwest League Eastern, 4.0 GB
-Radhames Quezada (L 5-7, 3.50) was the losing pitcher allowing the only earned run of the night in his four innings. Wes Mugarian struck out four in three scoreless innings.
-3B Spencer Dickinson finished 2-4. DH Joe Terry, RF Yorman Rodriguez, and 1B Sean Buckley each had a hit.

Mustangs (13-10), T-1st place Pioneer League North, 5.0 up
-Ismael Guillon (W 1-1, 3.05) struck out seven in five scoreless innings. Alejandro Chacin fired off two perfect innings. Two more perfect innings earned Sean Lucas his third save.
-SS Sammy Diaz was 2-3, with an RBI. 2B Robert Ramirez tripled to chase home a run. C Wagner Gomez had two hits, including a two-run homer (1) and three RBI. CF Jon Matthews had two hits and an RBI.

Reds (3-13), Last place Arizona League Central, 11.0 GB
-Wandy Peralta (L 1-2, 6.23) gave up six runs, five earned, in 3.1 innings. Richard McCaffrey had four strikeouts in 3.2 innings. Michael Salter and Jackson Stephens each hurled a scoreless innings.
-LF Brayan Arias went 2-4, with two RBI and a run. RF Argenis Aldazoro had two hits, including a double and an RBI.
