MINOR details 7/26/12: Dragons win; Travieso loses

Bats (40-67), last place International League West, 26.0 GB
-Todd Redmond (L 7-7, 3.58) struck out eight, but allowed five earned runs in 5.1 innings for the loss. Carlos Fisher tossed a scoreless inning.
-SS Didi Gregorius doubled, drove in a run, and scored a run. 1B Neftali Soto went 2-4, with a double, two RBI, and a run. LF Cody Puckett hit a three-run home run (5) and scored twice.

Blue Wahoos (52-50, 18-15), 2nd place Southern League South, 2.0 GB
-Daniel Corcino went six innings, giving up two earned runs and striking out five. Wilkin De La Rosa (L 0-1, 2.45) suffered the loss, allowing an unearned run in just 1/3 of an inning. Curtis Partch struck out four over two scoreless innings.
-SS Billy Hamilton was 1-3, with a walk. LF Donald Lutz finished 3-4, with a double and a solo shot (2). 3B David Vidal doubled and scored a run.

Blaze (56-48, 15-19), T-3rd place California League North, 5.0 GB
-Daniel Renken delivered seven shutout innings. Chris Joyce (L 3-4, 6.08) was charged with a blown save and the loss, surrendering six runs, three earned in 1.1 innings.
-CF Kurtis Muller had two hits. SS Devin Lohman was 2-4, with a double and a run scored. 3B Travis Mattair knocked in the only run.

Dragons (42-60, 12-20), Last place Midwest League Eastern, 8.0 GB
-James Allen (W 7-3, 3.43) fired off seven scoreless innings with two strikeouts. Michael Dennhardt threw a scoreless inning. Carlos Contreras got the save (11), despite allowing two earned runs in his one inning.
-RF Yorman Rodriguez tripled and scored a run. 1B Sean Buckley drove in a run and scored a run. 2B Ryan Wright was 2-4, with a run.

Mustangs (19-17), 2nd place Pioneer League North 4.0 GB
Billings was off on Thursday night. They return to action Friday at 7:05pm as they welcome the Helena Brewers to town.

Reds (7-20), Last place Arizona League Central, 10.0 GB
-Nick Travieso (L 0-1, 3.00) took his first loss, allowing an earned run in two innings. He did strike out two. Jonathan Perez, Joseph Housey, and Jackson Stephens each tossed a scoreless inning.
-RF Adam Matthews was 2-4. LF Argenis Aldazoro tripled and knocked in two runs.
