Billy Hamilton nearing record as Reds top prospects play on

Will he be "Record Holder" Billy Hamilton after tonight?
Pensacola shortstop Billy Hamilton currently sits on 143 stolen bases. He only needs two to tie and three to break Vince Coleman's single season record of 145 steals, set in 1983 with Macon. It's really no longer a question of if or when, but how many bases Hamilton will steal. The Blue Wahoos have a doubleheader scheduled for tonight, so the record could very well fall this evening.

2011 first-rounder Robert Stephenson has hardly missed a beat since being promoted to Dayton, looking about as good as he did at Billings.

Ryan Wright is taking advantage of the hitter-friendly California League as he's already hit four home runs in 16 games with Bakersfield. He hit only five homers in 102 games at Dayton.

Tony Cingrani is still pretty nasty too.

Here's the top prospects update. To see the last one, go here.
