Jose Reyes made Major League Baseball history with this play during Saturday's affair at Marlins Park.
It wasn't known at the time, but Reyes' error marked (unofficially) the 500,000th miscue in MLB history. A dubious milestone, but a milestone nonetheless.
For the record, Reds rookie left-hander Tony Cingrani barely missed having his name attached to the feat. He committed the 499,997th gaffe just two innings prior to Reyes'.
