Peoria used seven pitchers Monday night in order to shut out Surprise and get a 3-0 win. The Saguaros were held to just four hits by the Javelinas pitching staff, however none of the Reds pitchers were used in this one. There were a couple of Cincinnati batters in the game though.
-CF Billy Hamilton was 1-4, with two strikeouts and is hitting .292.
-DH Donald Lutz finished 0-4, with three Ks but still has an average of .455 on the season.
