Not much doing for Reds prospects as Javelinas lose 3rd and 4th in a row

The Javelinas got walloped on Monday night, losing 7-1 to the Scottsdale Scorpions. Peoria was outhit 10-3 as it was a quiet game for Reds prospects.

-CF Billy Hamilton went 0-3, with a walk. His batting average has dropped to .214.

-RHP Curtis Partch notched a perfect inning with a strikeout to bring his ERA down to 2.35.

Tuesday wasn't any better for Peoria. They once again took on the Scorpions and got whipped 12-2. They managed just six hits while committing two errors on the day. Players from the Reds organization didn't fare well at all in this one.

-SS Didi Gregorius was 0-4, with a K. He is hitting .277 on the season.

-3B Travis Mattair made a pinch-hit appearance, but failed to get a hit. It should be noted that Mattair has replaced Donald Lutz on the roster, after Lutz went down with an injury.

-RHP Drew Hayes had the worst day of all. He got absolutely rocked in just 2/3 of an inning. He allowed five runs, four of them earned, on four hits and a walk. He did strike out one, but his ERA rose to a lofty 6.48.
