Reds set their rotation for NLDS

Cueto will anchor the rotation yet again
The Redlegs have officially announced their rotation for the National League Division Series.

It had been rumored that the 3-man rotation would consist of Johnny Cueto in Game One, Bronson Arroyo in Game Two, and Mat Latos in Game Three. Dusty Baker confirmed those suspicions on Tuesday.

“We’ve been planning this for a while. It didn’t take a genius to see how we were planning this", said Baker.

Whether or not the team will use Homer Bailey for Game Four (if necessary) remains to be seen.

Both Cueto and Arroyo have experience pitching in the playoffs. This will be the first trip to the postseason for Latos.

Cueto's only start came during the 2010 NLDS with which he took the loss after allowing five hits and a run in five innings of work.

This year will mark the fourth playoff appearance for the 35-year old Arroyo. He owns an unblemished record of 0-0 and an ERA of 6.04 in 11 career postseason outings. His last came as a Red during the '10 NLDS when he tossed 5.1 innings and allowed three runs to the Phillies.
