The two players from Cincinnati's organization did not disappoint however.
Billy Hamilton led off and played center field. He was 1-3, with two walks, two runs scored, and a strikeout. He pulled a classic "Billy Hamilton move" in his first at-bat by walking, then stealing second and third and scoring after one of the following batters doubled. He came up with another classic in the fifth by dropping a perfect bunt and making it to third after a wild throw to try and get him out.
That wasn't all though. He made a marvelous catch in center. He was racing backwards towards the track and laid out to snag the ball just in time. I think he's going to be ok in the outfield. I was unable to embed the videos, but if you click the links above you can see his steals and the great catch.
RHP Curtis Partch faced just two batters, but he used 10 pitches to get them both out including a strikeout. That's pretty much getting your job done.
