Video: A day in the spring training life of Sam LeCure

Sam LeCure is one of the most overlooked players on the Reds roster.

His fastball won't clock in at triple digits on the radar gun, he may not be a defensive wizard at second base, and he isn't the face of Major League Baseball, but he does play a key role on the team.

Drafted by Cincinnati in the fourth round of the 2005 draft out of the University of Texas, LeCure has made his home in the bullpen after beginning his professional career as a starter. In 2012, LeCure notched a 3.14 ERA in 48 appearances, which spanned 57.1 innings.

When he is not pitching in relief, he can be found on Twitter regaling followers with insightful thoughts and positive words of advice.

Seen here is the 28-year-old giving us a behind-the-scenes look at what a day is like for a big leaguer in spring training. The video shows everything from the time LeCure arrives at the complex for a photo shoot, to workouts, to conditioning.
